Christ Celebration Ministries

Christ Celebration Ministries is the outcome of a vision conceived in 2009 by Pastor Moses N. Mbugua who teamed up with James Wamae and James Macharia. The vision became a reality on March 20th, 2010, at the residence of James & Agnes Wamae with about 15 adults in attendance. The Ministry was officially launched at 02.00pm on August 29th, 2010, at the Newark Senior Center 250 White Chapel Dr. Newark, DE 19713. Subsequent services were held here with an attendance of 20-25 people. All services were conducted in English but eventually a great need for Kikuyu service had to be addressed. We leased 104 Carson Dr. in Bear, Delaware on November 1st, 2010. In November 2021 the church moved to our current location.

“A church where God’s people serve freely.” At Christ Celebration Ministries we believe that God created everyone with their own unique gifts and potential. It is those talents that we aim to encompass for the furtherance of the individual and the work of God.

Our Mission

“Equip to transform through the word of God.” We preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is through the teaching that we arm our members to be good examples and soldiers in our community and beyond.
